What is stored
bn_sid is a signed session cookie for request protection, inaccessible to JavaScript (HttpOnly), SameSite=Strict and Secure on HTTPS. It lasts until the browser closes and is accepted by the server for up to two hours. It is created when using a form or chat.
bn_theme, bn_lang, bn_cookie_ok store theme, language and notice dismissal in localStorage until removed.
bn_bunch, bn_bubble store selected services and greeting status in sessionStorage until the tab closes.
What is not saved in browser storage
Request fields, chat text and AI mode consent are not written to localStorage or sessionStorage. No advertising pixels, counters or external fonts are loaded. AI receives messages only after separate activation.
How to manage storage
Remove banano.ru data in browser settings to reset preferences. Blocking cookies prevents forms and AI mode from passing security checks; phone, email and Telegram remain available. See the policy.
